A pair of guards make hushed conversation. DC 15 Perception allows you to hear about a gang of thieves operating in the area.

A crying child approaches you. She can’t find her mother, and is trembling in fear. DC15 Investigation or Persuasion to realise that the child lost her mother in the markets. Mother gives [Trinket] for finding her child, a small good luck charm.

Dexterity Check with Disadvantage. An arrow shoots past the heads of the party, lodging in a nearby wall with a note attached to it. Those with Elvish or DC 20 Insight read “Bastion for the True Elves.”

The party sees a goblin riding around on a giant badger. The goblin introduces himself as the merchant Skeggly Teefle, a “procurer of curiosities”. Roll 1d6 trinkets if they want to see his wares.
