Nothing happens.

2

2-3 air elementals (MM Pg 125) lurk off to the side of the trail. If the players appear threatening, or are trespassing onto their territory, they will attack.

3

Nothing happens.

4

There is a lone tree by the side of the path. Upon inspection and closer investigation, it is a Treant (MM Pg 289). The Treant is friendly, although cautious, but will fight back if the players become hostile.

5

2-4 Bulettes (MM Pg 35) appear out the ground.

6

2 Stone Giants (MM Pg 155) appear to be throwing rocks at each other, though upon further inspection, they are playing catch. Unless the players provoke them, or are making unnecessarily loud noises, the Stone Giants don't notice them.

7

There is a tall statue that is crumbling away. Upon inspection (with Arcana checks) the statue is magical. If the players get too close to the statue and appear hostile, the statue will come to life as a Clay Golem (MM Pg 167) and attack the players. If the encounter is too easy, 1-2 Earth Elementals (MM Pg 123) emerge from the ground and attack.

8

There is a small bowl that is full of water. The details on the bowl are very worn down, but with an impressive investigation check, or a decent religious check (you decide the checks), the players see it is an offering bowl to the old god of fortune and wealth.
If a player makes an offering of gold or other valuables, they are blessed with See Invisibility for an hour. However, if the players drink from the bowl, or generally disrespect the bowl, one of them will have Crown of Madness cast upon them.

9

Nothing happens.

10

2-4 Young Remorhaz (MM Pg 257) attack

11

There is a worn down shack made out of stone that is crumbling to pieces. Upon inspection, there is a small child inside. The child is visibly malnourished and is scared of the players. Upon further inspection, it is a halfling who only speaks his native language. What the players decide to do with the child is your decision.

12

A Flind (VGtM Pg 153) is leading two dwarves (given Gladiator stats MM Pg 346). They attack those who are considered good aligned.
