Medical

An urgent medical evac has been requested from a planet that is having local unrest against the Imperial garrison there. The client will provide a portable bacta tank can be stored in your Starship’s hold.

Resolve: {The bacta tank has a leak|The bacta has been diluted}

Medical/Salvage

There's a frigate floating in space emitting a distress signal. Is there someone in need of help or do you check it out for salvage?

Resolve: {It's a rebel frigate and Imperials are lying in wait|It's a Hutt smuggling ship full of contraband and another party is close by}

Smuggling

A package has been requested to be delivered, but its contents cannot be declared to planet border officials. It’s in a Resolve: {crate the size of a {speeder bike|land speeder|astromech droid}|small package about the size of a {data pad|suitcase}} but the party has no idea of the contents.

The border officials that intercept the PCs are fake and are after the package.

Kidnapping

The party has to seize a person of interest and bring them back to the client

Kidnapping/Mystery

The party is witness to an individual being dragged into an air speeder. The individual looks familiar. Does the party give chase?

A second group is after the same person. Their identity is unknown.

There’s a secure storage facility rumoured to have a secret vault. The party believes it can find a way in.

The local crime lord who uses the storage facility, has installed separate security measures that are unknown to everyone (including the owners of the facility). They see and hear everything the party does if they enter the vault.

Prison break. A client wants someone busted out of a local prison facility.

Everyone wants out. Chaos ensues and prison reinforcements aren't far behind.

A client wants access to a rivals’ computer systems. He knows of an exposed access point, but needs experts to infiltrate the system in a tactful way.

The exposed access point is a ruse. It's a trap made by the local network security staff.

The client wants specific company secrets extracted from said company.

A rival hacker is on the network at the same time. Do either of you know that each other is on there?

A rival group of the party is in system and there's an opportunity to infiltrate their ship's computer systems while they're docked. What mischief can the party get up to?

There's a trace routine and somehow the rival party knows where the terminal is that you're hacking from.

The party has been tasked to take delivery of an item and deliver it safely to the client’s contact person.

The contact person is different to the one the client specified. Should the deal go ahead?

The party has been entrusted with communications so secret that the encrypted data card must be delivered, in person, to the recipient.

The only close buyers will take the cargo for cheap. Better prices are in Imperial space.

There's a bounty on the client and they intercept the party in the orbit of the destination planet.

The client needs to attend at a meeting across the city. An escort is required. Rumour suggests the client is a local crime boss.

The destination of the meeting changes while en-route.

An ancient artifact is on display at an exhibition and the client needs it to be guarded in case a rumoured heist eventuates.

The artifact begins emitting some kind of radiation that forces everyone to leave the building. Could this be the start of a heist?

There's been a serious mishap at an orbiting space station, forcing those on board unable to take flight, to use escape pods. Your party has been asked to find one person in particular before the 'official' search and rescue team finds this person. This individual is carrying a modified locator beacon.

You find the locator beacon, but not the person.

Rumours of an old Resolve: {Sith|Jedi} temple has been circulating. Rumours suggest the coordinates are known.

Resolve: {A rival party is already there|The place is empty, except for the hungry wildlife|It's a trap and the Empire is waiting for any potential Force sensitives or Jedi to come to the site}.

Piracy

There’s a rumoured unescorted cargo vessel shipping Resolve: {weapons|bacta|spice} between systems. Seizing the cargo could be very lucrative.

A distress signal was sent and an Imprial patrol is close by. They'll arrive before the party has fully loaded and seized cargo.

Someone is willing to sell you the coordinates to an asteroid orbiting a system that is rich in high value minerals.

Something is alive in the asteroid belt.

There's a ghostly sith presence on the ship, which appears ancient.

The party is witness to a crime and the authorities suspect (incorrectly) that the party are the perpetrators and as a result, can't leave the planet. If the party is proactive and solves the crime first, they can leave.

There’s a big game hunting competition planetside. Rumours of massive rancor is spoken about between competitors. A prize is on offer for the slaying the party that slays the fiercest beast.

The conditions are making the party's equipment corrode and malfunction.

Hostage Situation: The party is stuck in a casino where a robbery gone wrong has resulted in the perpetrators locking down their level. The party can't leave.

There are explosives ready to take place if the perpetrators demands aren't met.

Persuade a faction to do some task against another faction who the party believes they're rivals with.

It's a double cross. The person you spoke with has been in secret dealings with the other party.

A badly damaged astromech droid is discovered on a ship's cargo hold. It will need some work to get running again.

The droid has a "broken" personality matrix and falls in love, to the point of obsession, with one of the crew.

The PCs are hired to stop a gang extorting "protection" money from local business owners.

While searching for the hideout, the boss comes by to collect and kills/maims the contract giver.

PCs are hired to break someone out of a secret medical lab.

The target has been infected with a dangerous and communicable disease.

Smuggling

The PCs get hired for a smuggling run that pays a little too well, and even get transponder codes for their ship in order to get them into their destination smoothly.

It's all a set-up. The transponder codes identify the ship as belonging to that of some no-name smuggler who just happens to have made it onto a watchlist. The destination planet's customs authorities ID the ship and proceed to intercept the PCs before they make it onworld.

Heist

A mysterious client has asked you to investigate the rumour of a Kyber crystal in the possession of a local Hutt crime lord. If it does indeed exist, the payment will be greater if the crystal can be stolen and given to the client.

The rumour is a ruse. The crystal is fake and an ISB agent lies in wait the hope of luring out jedi. The PCs have no idea if the client is or isn't a jedi, but they paid well.

Rob the mansion of a rich businessman.

His roguish {$child_gen} is already there robbing it. When encountered, {$gender} offers to split the loot with the PCs, since they outnumber {$possession_gen}, but {$gender} knows the security system. Is there any way this doesn't end in somebody double-crossing somebody else?

Race

There's a high profile swoop bike race and the PCs have acquired a stock bike (as per the competition rules) which they're allowed to modify (as per certain regulations). There's a massive cash prize and the prospect of fame and future races.

There's a third party that really wants the PC's bike and are prepared to take it by force either during or after the race.

Salvage

There's a ship long lost to the growing vegetation of a planet's surface. It's rumoured to be a Clone Wars era ship, but its allegiance is unknown.

The ship is a Resolve: {[Confederacy Providence-class Dreadnaught](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Providence-class_dreadnought), but a malfunctioning (and strangely independent) droid mind has taken control of the ship and all its internal security systems.|Republic [Venator-Class Star Destroyer](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Venator-class_Star_Destroyer), but it's internals structure is unstable, there are reactor leaks, highly volatile substances; the place is like a death trap.}

Mechanics

The PCs have been hired to do on-site repairs on a Nubian starship. The typically over-engineered craft requires investigation to find the exact fault, so part requirements will only be known once the PCs are on site. It's currently docked at a star port at a different system, but the client is willing for the PCs to fly there, get is space worthy, and deliver it back.

A third party is lying in wait to steal the ship from PCs, once they figure out how to get is space worthy again.

Heist

The PCs enter a local cage fight to earn some cash. The event organizer can get enter one of the PCs into the card (bout line-up), for a fee.

The match was supposed to be rigged! The event organizer who added the PC to the fight-night was under instruction from the local mob boss how the fight was supposed to go. Now he's in trouble, and by extension. The PCs are in trouble...

If the PC won by knockout: "You were meant to just jab for points, not clean the guy out!" The match was supposed to be rigged for a points based win, not a KO.

If the PC won by points: "I thought you were some big time fighter! The other guys was paid to take it out the chin and take a dive!"

If the PC loses: "I've seen Jawas fight better than that! So much for reputation."

Either way, trouble should follow the PCs out of this one. How do they make it right?

Salvage/Mechanics

There are some mothballed Z-95s on an abandoned warehouse on some planet. They've long been forgotten about; perhaps abandoned in a hurry or something. Sure, they're old, but if you can get them going, they could be worth a bit.

There are EQNRoll d10+4 of them! What a cache! However, each has its own idiosyncrasies even after corroded parts are replaced. Some have uneven acceleration, some have jamming weapons system, one has the fuel light on all the time. Will the PCs know this before they try and sell them, or will it result in unhappy customers?  Will it affect the price?
