Drunk and Disorderly: The troops went a little too hard on their latest night in town. Pay Roll on "Fines" C-bills in fines/bribes/bail/etc

Malfunction: Something heavy breaks and damages key equipment. Pick a random war machine on base and roll on the appropriate Damage Status table from SO p173-174

Outbreak: Something is going around the troops and the base needs to be quarantined for Roll on "2d6" weeks. Reduce this by 1 per medical team or MASH theatre (min 2 weeks). You are unable to recruit until the time is up and any events involving leaving base are ignored, except for attacks. If you are attacked, all combat rolls are at +1 TN due to the illness.

Brawl: Unit rivalry or a poker game have got out of hand. Randomly pick two lances/stars (of any type). They have duked it out, become injured and now need Medical Care as per SO p187

Going Native: The troops are getting very comfortable in their current posting. For every 100 individuals on your roster (rounding up), add Roll on "1d6" Dependants.

A New Pet: Someone on base got a new dog or cat or other crowd-pleaser. Raise the force’s Morale Rating by 1 (SO p39).

Inspection: A general or some other important figure is coming to see if their investment is worth the effort, prompting a flurry of spit-shining and repainting etc. Increase the Quality of all equipment by 1 step (but not better than E).

LosTech: Your chief ‘Tech has managed to source a juicy deal. Pick a piece of technology (not a whole vehicle) considered LosTech for your era of play and buy it for the double price listed in the Tech Manual. This can be installed on one of your machines, weight allowing. Re-roll this result for Clan forces.

Intensive Training: Afraid of the troops getting slack, the commander pushes them harder than in an actual war zone. Add +1xp to all units (including tech and medical teams).

Volunteers: A Roll on "Quality" Roll on "Unit Type" comes to the base looking to sign up, and they brought their own equipment! You do not need to pay for this, apart from wages, maintenance etc.
