Gems, Minerals, Ores (d100)
This comes from at a post by TheDungeoneer at his blog. It was subsequently shared at r/d100.
Here’s a random list of things your players might dig out of the ground. Don’t know what something is? Be sure to drop the name into Wikipedia.
Like colors, several of these are named after people. There’s no harm in renaming your minerals after famous people in your campaign world.
