The group happens upon a cave. It's uninhabited, and deeper inspection reveals a hot springs inside.

There is an abandoned hut in the middle of the tundra. Several mimics have taken up residence there.

A family of snow foxes watch the party pass. It's adorable.

A wild and gnarled tree stands alone in the landscape. It's inhabited by a dryad who's wary of fire, but peaceful and willing to provide directions.
