As an action, you either re-orientate this gem in your grasp, or roll it like a die.
As you do so, sub-atomic particles are re-designated from surrounding materials to form another.

Turn
While you are attuned, you turn the gem in hand as an action.
You may select any element from the table as long as you have previously rolled that element at least once.
You may direct the effects of that element as per the associated spell's description.
Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Roll
You cast the gem unto the whim of your universe. Roll a d118 (1d100 +1d20 +1d6 +1d4 -12), and consult the table of the elements.
Make a ranged attack with the gem throwing it or hurling it with a sling. If thrown, it has a range of 60 feet, the DM determines if the gem continues to roll beyond this point based on the surface it lands.
Any resulting area effect spell is centered on the gem, Targets are effected in order of nearest to furthest from where the hectoheptdecagon lands.
