1	Punji Stick Trap	Sharpened and hardened sticks (e.g. bamboo), at the bottom of a pit. Sometimes sticks were coated in human or animal feces to promote infection of wounds.	Pit trap
2	Side-closing spike trap	A variation on the pit trap. A spiked board breaks at the centre and the spikes impale the ankle and lower leg.	Pit trap
