Blank 6 (d2)

There are a surprisingly large number of ways to pluck a string, blow through a tube or hit something with a stick. These techniques are perfected over centuries of culture, history and tradition into musical instruments that can stir the basest of human emotion. From the primal blood rush of pounding war drums to the mournful wails of a lonely violin or the lively dance of an energetic accordion, nearly every human experience can be expressed or enhanced through music. In roleplaying games, the myriad of ways to express stringed, wind and percussion instruments are often reduced down to the lute, flute and drum respectively. However, roaming bards and musicians of all sorts thrive on novelty and curiosity to draw in the crowd’s coin and may play a more uncommon instrument in order to charge a stiffer price for an encore. This table represents a collection of real life instruments all capable of being created with pre-industrial techniques. Furthermore they are all small to medium sized and could be easily be stored, carried, maintained and played by a traveling adventurer.
