Stuff a Blacksmith Makes (d100)
This table was shared to r/d100 by u/MortalBean. You can see the original post here. Here's a excerpt from the post:
Medieval blacksmiths made a ton of different stuff, yet most of the time PCs only ever use them as if they were weaponsmiths or armorsmiths. In smaller villages a blacksmith would spend most of their time working on far more mundane objects (like many of the ones on this list). Blacksmiths made virtually anything that was made from iron or steel (which were black when being worked). This even included things like portcullises and gates (entries on the list). Anything else was made by the respective smith (like silversmiths/brightsmiths, which usually doubled as goldsmiths in many instances). With some smiths being so specialized that they only ever made a small selection of objects, such as the farrier, a smith which only made horseshoes. Most of these specialized smiths should only be available in bigger cities where there would be more demand for their work and if the PCs need an especially complicated metalworking job done they should likely be required to seek out a more specialized smith.
